- I am currently using the MetroWorks Code Warrior compiler, Bronze Version.
- I got this for $99.00 about a year ago. It is a CD with all of the
- documentation on it. I found the compiler to be pretty solid for some of my
- entry level projects. However, I have not been able to get the debugger to
- work, even with some technical support, and as I get into the more advanced
- topics in C++ classes, I am noticing some things that should run on the
- compiler that do not. The environment is nice, perhaps MetroWorks has
- upgraded
- the debugger and their compiler over the last year. The Bronze version is
- the cheapest commercial compiler I've found. It does the job for most of
- what I need (i.e., I'm doing a masters degree class in C++).
-
- Hope this helps!
